Most people do. Most people are right handed, so pulling the mouse towards yourself is usually more controllable. Plus, the gun is on the right side, so it looks more natural to turn left, because IRL, logically the gun could poke around the corner without exposing your whole hitbox.

Toxicity still doesn't help win games, so the fact that the team in general wasn't toxic already led them to having a higher chance of winning. Also, Sym wasn't even that bad against the enemy comps since she does pretty well against Shield match ups and can somewhat fare well against Genji (somewhat cause his buffs make him much more annoying now).
