Different players with different games. But as far as natural feel and vision for the game… Ricky Rubio vibes. The control, flair, apparent nonchalance… reminds me of a young ricky. Ricky’s probably a better ball handler and passer at that age but still (and Egor is a better shooter, more athletic and 5 inches taller). On a side note, Catchings has so much length… and such a high shot release. Him and Egor will be a fun duo this year.

Leif, I think you are overvaluing some of your top 5 guys ahead of Demin based on your earlier evaluations and because you haven't been as high on Demin as others. I hope you can have a more open mind this season because I think he can easily make a case with the skill set he showed to be top 5 or even top 3 pick. Especially if he shoots well from three.

“Wrong school”. The coach is an NBA coach and his staff is made up of pro ball coaches. They are running the program like an NBA team. NIL plays a part but is not the primary recruiting pitch. The pitch is to develop players for the nba because coach Young has been there already coaching the greats
