Yes, it would seem Scott Grimes was actually saying 'I hope there is something in January' not, 'there is something in January'. Remember, unless Seth McFarlane himself says it's a go, and then it's at a Disney event, then it is not official yet. It is merely rumor. Wonder if Scott was just talking about something else entirely. It doesn't look like he was being deceptive or playing a joke. He just was misquoted. Your channel though has some connection, so go ask the people in person. See what they say.

I saw the video of Scott's announcement. He wasn't being hopeful. He said production begins in January/February 2025. I've already spoken to production months ago. The show has been picked up for a 4th season. Yay!!!!
