Maskul1nable I did play a lot of Quake 1 back in the days, but the music didn't stick with me. Maybe because it wasn't so original and was just ment to create atmosphere? Duke Nukem cover of Megadeth's version has been done to death, so if I will attempt Duke Nukem I think I will do my own interpretation of it. But I do have other covers on my site if you haven't checked those one out. What the future brings is unknown :)

It's a pain in the ass haha! have to have the right colors, right lighting, can't stand close to it, and make sure it's straight so it has no shadows. Post-fix of green screen errors take so long time, it's better to re-record if it looks bad.

I love all of your remixes. PLEASE for the love of god make a WAD so that I could play your metal remixes with brutal doom. I prefer classic vanilla dos doom, but with brutal doom these remixes are AMAZING and are actually much better than the "Metal soundtrack" that brutal doom includes as a separate download. These are so much better to capture the brutality and fast pace of the mod. Never stop making these man. I would love to hear you make some metal remixes of the Heretic or hexen ost as well. Keep doing your thing.

Mmmm, first thing in mind, when I hear that cover, is I prefered the high notes of ocarina/flute - on the beginning - played with staccato, just like in the original. But it's still a very great and badass rearrange, with great sound!

Lol, no no; in the original version, the arpeggio at the beggining is played with staccato, on somekind of flute or ocarina. In my opinion, it fits better. In your cover, you played it with more sustain, on a synthetic string. But like I said (and a lot of others ^^), you still make great covers of the OSTs

Are most of those Doom soundtrack metal remixes in Drop C tuning? They all sound like B or C tuning to me. I can find out by ear but want to be sure :D.

If you see a video with this guitar, it's standard C tuning. My Jackson, black ESP's and LTD is standard E tuning. My other Washburn I tend to tune as I please, but mostly very low: D or B. The reason for this is that the Wasburn is the only one that has not a Floyd Rose, which is a bitch to tune.

rtrThanos Thanks. All songs ever made have actually potential to be better. But at one point one just have say "stop, thats it". Or else it could lay around for 10 or 20 years or even for an eternity and nobody would even hear it! I constantly try to better myself both in sound and playing style and technique. Sometimes I get a better sound, but sometimes I need to take a few steps back, because very often more is not often better. In therms of good guitar sound; the more shit you add the worse the sound. What really gives a good sound is: New strings --> Pickup --> a really good amp (VST plugin or real). I always use the TS808 overdrive pedal since it just boosts the good amp sound without changing the tone.

It actually took me a few years, and probably watching it about 500 times, but, there are plenty of places where I can say you are playing air guitar. It doesn't match up. Song goes down in tone but you go up on your guitar. It doesn't match up.
