The Super Eagles' display against Rwanda was not only embarrassing but it also showed the lack of tactical acumen from our technical bench. It is now obvious that Eguavoen doesn't have much to offer us. We saw how the Cheetahs of Benin chocked off our midfield to force us to play fruitless long balls and kept us falling into their offside traps with no visible tactical solution from Eguavoen. We also have not figured out how not to concede goals from set pieces. The Rwanda game in Uyo was completely lackluster. Loosing that game was a big mistake because it gives them confident that they could beat us again in the world cup qualifier. Moreover, it is very revealing that aside from Osimhen as our main striker, we have no one else. Boniface cannot be the face of our attack. We are screwed if Osimhen is injured or unavailable. Nigeria should frantically be looking for a number 9 that is smart and ferocious in the attack. Time is of the essence!
