I was in Hurghada last week for 1 week holidays with 3 friends. It was amazing but one of my friends had an accident on the quad on our first day of activities during the safari and loss consciousness for a while. She was badly injured. It was so bad but thank God she is healing well now. We spent an insane amount of money in the hospital🤦🏾‍♀️ and she did not enjoy the holidays at all. And the red sea deep diving was scaring for us non swimmers😅 Hurghada is a beautiful place to visit but I did what I know best took tons of pictures😅 and enjoyed the beauty of the place.

Glad you’re ok 💜 Also for anyone else in future do NOT allow them to take you straight into the ocean diving especially if you’re not a confident swimmer. That’s really really unsafe practice and shows those “instructors” really don’t know what they’re doing, so probably wouldn’t know what to do if someone started panicking and something did go wrong. Really lucky no one got hurt xx To add just in case - snorkelling and diving aren’t the same. For diving you’re fully submerged, breathing through a regulator. You need to know how to do that, change your mouthpiece while under water if it’s leaking/not working, equalise before returning to the surface etc etc. Where they were diving didn’t look too too deep, but any deeper and with an untrained, unconfident diver/swimmer would be extremely unsafe.
