Everywhere in the world there is a good person and a bad person. After the corn seller part, the second boy, the sweet potato seller, came and worked with all honesty and kindness. As for the rest of the people who appeared in the video, they treated him with all honesty and kindness. I excluded all the good people in the video and stuck only to the bad person who appeared... The Egyptian people are known in the Arab world for their hospitality, honesty, and strength. There are some individual mistakes. It makes you judge an entire people poorly. It is not right to judge 110 million Egyptians poorly just because you saw someone bad. @@fdama

He didn't let the dishonest rude person at the beginning ruin his experience and affect how he perceives all other Egyptians. He's humble and isn't looking down on people like unfortunately many annoying travel vloggers / tourists do. I'm traveling to middle Asia this September and I'll adopt your technique of roaming around and interacting with locals, no plan is the best plan haha. A fun fact about Egypt 🇪🇬 is that a young pour kid like him or even his parents will not be allowed to exchange this dollar bill to egp to buy things with it it’s only a sweet memory for him , the rationale behind that is that 1- an Egyptian must be officially working in a position that he gets paid in dollar such as tourism or aviation industry 2- Egyptian are also allowed to exchange foreign currency if one has travelled abroad or has a residency or a visa outside of Egypt 3-and also the fact that a bank or a currency exchange bureau will most likely refuse to exchange a 1 dollar bill I think the minimum is like a 20 dollars bill
