Egyptian Goose - Explore South Africa with Vinnu Kalisseril

The life of the Egyptian Geese (from the duck family) which is a very sociable bird. They are one of the most intelligent bird which can even remember human faces and situations and due to this they can be tamed and have been known to qualify as a natural watchdog. Adding to this their natural high temperament comes in handy and needs no training in taking the role as the watchdog.
Even though they are excellent swimmers, they spent most of their time on land and on trees.
Having them around is is like have a bunch of kindergarten students around. Feel like It's party all the time.

Here, in Germany i only see them in pairs. They are very nervous, shy birds. I have won them over with pressure cooked feed corn. They are not aggressive at all, they run away before anyone, or thing, gets too close. They notice me from far away and know the corn is coming.

Surprisingly the once we have in South Africa is aggressive and bold, probably the surroundings have made changes to their character
