Prince was the fuckin god of b-sides and unreleased music. He was just so dedicated and talented and fluent in the studio. That whole period of clubby synth funk he had in the early 80s is always such a treat to me. Loooooved that last track Egyptian Lover made though!! I used to post up listening to Uncle Jams Army hoping the Egytian Lover would get on the 1s and 2s. This dude would cut and scratch R&B and techno. Only person I ever heard mix and scratch Erotic City along with Tour de France. Or mix body talk with so sweet so young. There would not be a Dr.Dre if there was never an Egyptian lover and that's real as talk!

The L.A Coliseum 1984 concert. Egyptian Lover , Uncle Jams and The Wrecking Crew. We did not get to see much of the concert because, of a gang war. They shut down the concert and the cops made everyone leave. The shit was serious folks , So Cal was no joke and no refunds !
