I wish they'd make a more blue based purple or indigo palette. I liked this one alright, but I prefer royal purples, indigo & blue-violets while this was more pinky-lavenders.

When I set my primer, my eyeshadows start to crease before I get to the eyeliner. T__________T Maybe it's cause you can't 'set' an oily potato chip like me...

Have you ever tried the Colourpop No Filter concealer for cutting the crease?? Or the BTW sculpt concealer?? Just curious I’ve used all 3 and actually prefer the CP one! Also have you see the cut crease base Makeup Revolution has released??

I have tried the CP one and its not my favorite. I find that its too liquidy and it doesnt give me as cut of a line because of it. It seems it moves around too much for me. However, if i let it dry down a bit before I use it, its better. I haven't tried the Too Faced concealer yet! I reaaaaally want to try that base. It looks amazing!

I just got my palette and it is amazing! All the shades are pigmented and the mattes blend like butter! I haven't found any issues with patchiness, or the shimmers not being very pigmented. I wonder if your palette came from a funky batch?

I'm so glad you did a tutorial on this palette, I've used it twice and I thought it was just me since I'm not expert at blending. But you can clearly see the harsh line that you were continuously trying to blend out. I never understand mattes that are full of shimmer haha I either want a shimmer or matte. But your look can out absolutely gorgeous!! Thanks for such an informative video!

Im happy that you like it!!! Im glad Im not the only one who experienced it too. I was really bummed about how it blended in certain places. Did you have problems with the shimmer infused matte leaving specs in random places?

@@BreyonnaFaye I agree! I was kind of bummed about the quality tbh! I only have pressed single eyeshadows from colourpop, no palettes and I was super excited for this palette. Yes!! I know sometimes companies put shimmer in matte eyeshadows to make it blend better and the shimmer won't actually show up on the lid, but not for this shade haha. I had random specs of shimmer on my lid and crease. I also had a difficult thing getting the shimmers to show up, it's so interesting that when you mixed 2 of the shimmers it came out almost identical to another shimmer already in the palette.

Same! Ive noticed there's a slight inconsistency with some of the pressed formulas. I was so annoyed with the random flecks. It was SO weird looking in my opinion. Really? Did you try them wet at all? I also noticed if you apply them with your finger they apply well too (but you dont get as much precision unfortunately). Girl I was so confused when it happened!!! I thought it was going to brighten the shade up a little so I'd have a really cool gradient fade with a little pop but I was so surprised it did that!

@@BreyonnaFaye I usually just use my finger! But I am going to dry a damp brush to see if I can get more pigment that way. I know!! you still made this eye look come together nicely but companies should just stick to either a matte or shimmer hahaha. I feel like this palette had so much potential and could have been so much better, especially for being a purple palette and not having like a true royal purple! I feel like it's a pink palette with a pop of purple

Ehhh I think in total it takes about 2 hours with everything from editing, doing the thumbnail, and writing out the description :) Editing is the worst haha. But Im growing to like it more than I did before after I got the rhythm of it

Oh and have you tried the nyx swear by it palette? Has a lot of colors. I really need to chill on all the makeup I buy. 😩 it's a struggle.
