I agree with you that Italian fashion is more cheerful than its French counterpart, which takes itself sometimes too serious, but your gaudy examples don't represent the typical Italian style. "Sprezzatura" is the keyword, roughly translated as nonchalance, which means being not too rigid. But those mostly garish and flashy outfits in your video are for sure not characteristic for the way, Italian women dress.

Difficult to replicate in other countries. First, their textile and their garnment industry is better. The Italian look may seem bold, but look at the perfect lapels and well constructed garnment. Second, their washing machines are better. In the US, the standard washing machines destroys your attire.

Italian style in the 50’s and 60’s, French in 30’s. Not sure for the 40’s. I like both but as half Italian you know. Now, really it is not hard to get French style but to nail Italian you need to be born this way ❤
