@ Got a brand new Apogee One for a cheap price, but did send it back due to some reasons. The same day I got a used UAD Arrow, and that's it now. Amazing options, and finally a really great bass sound by using Ampeg plugin in unison slot.

@@EhsanImani I been working with the Jam+ .... today I did some comparison with Arrow, Volt 1 (now my backup interface) and Jam+. Now I know why some things confused me all the time with jam+. This thing has a limiter inbuilt, and some kind of compression. I tried hard, but I did not get jam+ to bring me a single red signal on my Mac input, no chance. Even with hitting with medium power, I reach the top line, depending on gain setting, but when then hitting really hard its not more input coming, and not going above the top line of peak meter. Now I also know, why its been so hard to play low volume sounds only by adjusting the hit of the strings, ....... with both UAD interfaces now way easier to do. May be this is of interest for ya! Cheers!

Appreciate the quality of your video! Quick one, have found a good replacement to the apogee one that's better than the irig hdx?
@EhsanImani28 күн бұрын
I haven't found a better option unfortunately. I still think iRig hdx is a good value for the money unless you go in the all round sound interface territory such as focusrite scarlett .

Are your running the Apogee One on a newer ipad with USB-C? Have read that its no longer compatible? Do you have any issues?
@EhsanImani3 ай бұрын
I have an ipad mini 6 with usb-c and I can use my Apogee One with it in Garage Band. With some cables the Apohee Maestro app may not recognise the device but the device will still work. with some other usb cables Apogee maestro app recognise it too. But in both scenarios you can use the device and control it using it's volume knob

I have it working with my Ipad Pro USB C - however, only way I can get it working is by using an Anker Interface with a USB port on it - works well and not an issue and a steal for £50.00 ! :)

@@colinglen5370 does the maestro software work and connect to the one?

Hey. Very cool comparison! I'm just missing information on which interfaces are class compliant and how they handle it. For example, if someone needs an interface for recording ideas on the phone, these are the "little ones" they will look at first. Regards from Poland!
@EhsanImani5 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks! All of these devices can be connected to your phone or ipad. Even the older Appgee One can be connected to an ipad using a usb to usb c converter cable. So it’s just about which one fits within your budget :)

That noise gate / grounding problem with the Positive Grid is also found in their Spark amps. So annoying!

Good to know! I never used any of their amps and if they have the same issue then it must've been annoying!

@EhsanImani2 ай бұрын
not sure about the dynamic range but it has enough headroom for almost all use cases. and it's compatible with pc/windows :)

You can control input gain for irig in the tonex app no? Im looking around and it seems irig hdx is the way to go. If that was your only gripe would you say there was anything else to consider?
@EhsanImani5 ай бұрын
I think it's the input to the Tonex app that you'll adjust and it's not the device's input gain. But tbh that amount of clipping I showed in this video wouldn't ruin the sound and it's still one of the cleanest sounding devices out of that bunch. The only other thing that I faced was a bit of buffering problem in heavy projects with loads of tracks and real-time guitar effects where it lagged to play the project or record properly. I didn't have this issue with the cheaper Irig USB version. But unless your project is like 30 tracks with 10 plugins on each track, you should be totally fine with using it for jamming and recording :)

Hello friend, what an excellent video! Could you tell me, thinking about normal-sized audio cards, which one would you recommend for recording guitars? for microphone it would be less of the time, especially for guitar. on Windows, iOS and iPadOs. thanks.
@EhsanImani3 ай бұрын
Thank you! You'll be able to achieve good results with any normal-sized entry level sound interfaces, such as Focusrite, Steinberg and so on.

Hi there, on the back of your review I just bought an Apogee One for £20. Hoping it will be usable on my new iPad Air. Cheap enough to try🤞. I’ve read some usb-c cables won’t work - any recommendations that do please?
@EhsanImaniАй бұрын
Hey there, hope you enjoy your Apogee One. I've bought a cheap USB to USB c adapter and used Apogee One's original cable. The Apogee Maestro app on your iPad may not show the device but GarageBand recognise it and it's usable and you just can change to settings using the device itself. With some random cables Apogee Maestro app recognises it too.

Ottimo video 👏👏👏… io stavo valutando l acquisto dell irig hd x….,, non ho chitarre con pickups potenti quindi non dovrei avere problemi col l input gain… Mi interessa sapere come suona? Grazie ☺️

how about hd x latency?
@EhsanImani2 ай бұрын
latency was not an issue for me in this test. It suffered from buffering a bit instead. it couldn't play projects with too many tracks properly. but with more lightweight projects it was fine and no latency problem.

Is this product advertising? As the Apogee One is not a guitar interface as it does not have a 1/4" guitar input 😂
@EhsanImani3 ай бұрын
it actually has and I mentioned it at 1:35, Apogee one comes with a breakout cable that gives you a 1/4" guitar input as well as a XLR mic input. is the only all-round sound interface amongst these.
