Good info, thanks. If I want to create youtube shorts with my iphone 12: guitar > NUX MG-30 > iPhone...in your estimation, what would be the best tool to make the shorts with processed sound from the NUX using the native iPhone video app? I'm looking for a solution to get the sound and video I want in one step rather than using my better camera and having to then edit the sound and sync it with imovie, then upload it...and create a short...must be an easier way...thanks for your help.

I had the Irig USB and the latency wasn't great, i bought a Scarlet solo and it obliterated it for latency. I travel a lot, so the HDX would be a more convenient size than the solo for that, but did they improve the latency over the USB model?

How do you fix the latency? I’m having trouble
@pauldavies9612 ай бұрын
@@jadubb4639 I didn't. The Scarlett solo obliterated it, performace wise so just travel with that. Much better product IMO

Thx for this video. Just a question about the iRig USB: Can You control the level of the headphone out? The IK Multimedia iRig HD 2 has gain and volume control. Looks like that is only available in the HD X.

Hello. How should I connect my "iRig HD X" to a PC? Do I need the PC to have a USB C input? Or should I get another cable that is USB-C to USB to connect it to the PC? Thank you

I’ve had so much trouble getting this hdx to work. Headphones feedback like crazy amongst other issues. Perhaps I need the simple one.

So I don't have to pay for that software any additional money? No in-app purchases for extra features, etc? Please explain how it works. It's my first time seeing a device like this.
@AudioTechTV3 ай бұрын
You don’t have to pay extra for the apps themselves but there are in app extras that you can purchase if you want even more amp models.

@@AudioTechTV Thank you for a quick reply to my question! So I assume I'll have at least a few dozen of most basic amps at my disposal, which is not bad. Thank you for your review! I think I'll buy iRig USB tomorrow.

HD X don’t have input level control. I think that’s the main downshort of it.
@RobotShlomo3 ай бұрын
What you "need to know" is that the HD X doesn't work well with either Windows or anything other than the IK Multimedia software. I can't get this thing to work with Neural Amp Modeler or Guitar Rig 7. The tuner isn't even that accurate.

Loop back support on Android would be a killer feature for me. To bad it's still ioS dependent.

can i use this with my piano keyboard?
@AudioTechTV10 ай бұрын
Technically yes. Ideally no. Your piano keyboard likely outputs a stereo line out signal. These devices have a mono instrument input. You could connect the line out from your piano keyboard to one of these and you would get sound but it wouldn’t be optimal.

What do you recommend for stereo inputs 🙏🏻?

Dunno. Is this better than let's say a Scarlett 3rd gen?
@AudioTechTV Жыл бұрын
A Scarlett 3rd gen has way more features including mic preamps and line inputs. These are intended as portable interfaces just for guitar. I would say that a Scarlett 3rd gen is better for it’s intended purpose and the iRig HDX is better for it’s intended purpose. Which one is better for you depends on your needs.
