According to the indenture picture circulating, the land in question is a fresh lease or let's say a new lease from the chiefs to medikal for probably 99years . It's not an ASSIGNMENT (ie properties sold from a second party to a third party) and it's even indicated on the indenture that's it's a lease so there is no way a second party bought it from the chiefs and sold the land to Medikal(3rd party). I'm sure cos of the date on the document that's why there is a problem cos most of these traditional rulers have problems with records keeping. I don't know the current custodian of that area but I've worked at Lands Commission before and cos of poor records keeping if the previous custodian dies a lot of problems pops up about land sales. Especially when the individual that bought the land hasn't registered it at Lands Commission and has not also built anything on the land to secure it. In this case the new custodian mostly sell some of these lands to new people and it brings about a lot of problems.
