@@TheLemonFactor So I've driven my car now for at least 100 miles since install and wow! What a difference! I can definitely feel the car more planted even more so since my car is lowered 0.8 inches using Eibach pro kit. I can take sharp turns like the car is on rails. Definitely worth having it on. BTW I'm on the soft settings.

I installed the Whiteline rear sway bar on my 2.0 Sport. This upgrade makes a big difference!!! I first installed with a jack like your video, but when I switched the stiffness, I did this on the ramps. I like the Whiteline option as they have grease-less bushings. They also have lateral locks as an option. The lateral locks really make a difference.
@TheLemonFactor

The Whiteline sway bar looks like a very solid option. I did take a look at it, and it appears that it still uses lubrication for the bushings???
@ar671
@ar671 4 жыл бұрын
@@TheLemonFactor Nope, no lubrication needed based on the instructions. The inner bushing has a thin "fuzzy" material which allows the bar to slide freely. I know your confusion, their product descriptions are terrible.

@gregorydunn2716
@gregorydunn2716 4 жыл бұрын
I was on the stock springs for a year, and really liked the ride and consequently was concerned about messing up a good thing However, 2 month ago, I got the Eibach Sport lowering springs with their rear sway bar, and rear camber kit installed it is only the .8 inch drop, I can assure you that the ride has not become harsh, if anything it seems better at least over smooth pavement, and most bumps are well damped I do generally avoid the bigger potholes anyway, so I don't know if the car will be more likely to bottom when hitting them... All in all, I am very happy with the setup so far...

Thanks for the feedback on the Eibach springs.... it's either going to be them or the H&R Sport that I install.

I couldn't agree more. I have that exact same setup. Eibach everything. My only regret is not putting more meat on my ride. Currently rolling on a 35 series Hankook tires. When these wear out definitely going 40 or 45 series next time. Just hope it won't rub with a 20 inch rims.

Great video, I just bought a '21 Accord Sport 2.0T and I'm planning to also change the rear swaybar to reduce body roll and the understeer, but instead I think that I would go for the Progress one that looks more stock (gray) and don't think that I will need the adjustability since I wouldn't track the car. Also planning to get a better brake fluid to reduce the overheating of the brakes, probably will get Wilwood Hi-Temp 570 Racing Brake Fluid (290-0632) DOT-3. I will not be replacing the front sway bar. If you’re looking to make the car more neutral (less understeer) in a front wheel drive car, you generally look to beef up the rear bar. If you add a stiffer front sway bar you’ll be counter acting some of the benefits of adding the rear.

I'll tell you guys something.. I put some coilovers on my Accord and can't get a finger in the gaps and the ride is fooking incredible! Skip the sway bars(for now) and get some BC Racing B series coilovers AT LEAST quality wise that's what you want to look for. If you want to go low like mine you will need adjustable control arms unless you don't mind extreme rear camber.

They may have loosened some part of the suspension that would result in the hang. If that’s the case let’s hope they tightened everything back up afterwards.

Hey i got a question, would those pure contact wheels that you have fit the 2018 tourings michelins 235 40r19 96v. If so are they any better? And where did you get them?
@TheLemonFactor
@TheLemonFactor 4 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure if you’re asking about the tires or the rims, so I’ll answer both. The rims are a Honda optional wheel, which I bought from College Hills Honda. They’re 19s and I like the look with the white, but they’re kinda heavy. The tires come in various sizes and you can get them on tire rack, although I bought mine cheaper locally. They are an all season tire with a reasonably long tread life. The tire is quieter and does have a bit more grip than the stock tires as I immediately noticed I wasn’t breaking them lose under hard acceleration or corners like I was the stock tires. If I were to do it over I’d go with an even stickier tire as the torque available early in the rpm from this car can easily break lose the tires.

Two questions one ... how does the factory sway bar stack up to the new one... is it comparable in heft? or is the new one way stiffer and stronger? two .... any reason to do a front sway bar or just sticking with the rear?
@TheLemonFactor
@TheLemonFactor 4 жыл бұрын
At 10:10 within the video, I do show a comparison between the Honda OE rear sway bar, and the Eibach rear sway bar, including weight and diameter. The Eibach sway bar is much more robust, much stiffer than the OE. Usually, for a front wheel drive car, if you're trying to reduce understeer, you want the rear bar to be stiffer relative to the front bar. With this mod, it has noticeably reduced body roll, so I don't see a need to change the front bar too (although there may be some situations / cars that you may want to do so), and as we've made the rear bar that much stiffer than the front, we've reduced some of the inherent understeer, which is what I was after. Hope this helps.

@TheLemonFactor
@TheLemonFactor 3 жыл бұрын
I’d be cautious in providing you with a time frame as one piece of the process could take 15 mins or 1hr and that would be the removal of the old bar which can be a PITA to finagle out. With that said and assuming you don’t have too much of a problem removing the old bar, then maybe 2hrs your first time. I have not tried the firm setting as I’m very happy with the “soft” setting.

Well at least you know where it’s coming from, now to figure out why. Check to make sure everything is oriented correctly. Go through the video and ensure everything is torqued to the spec needed. You don’t need an inclined driveway. If you can access everything with the car on the ground, loosen up everything and retorque to the specs I have identified in the video.
