Really like the look of both the XCape 1200 and the new Milano 1200 , maybe you could revisit the stand and do an up close and personal review of both ? the Corsaro sport looks really good as well.

I will if I have time. I'm a bit behind today due to attending a couple of press conferences, and today was the 'quiet' day... I managed to record 18 videos, and edit 3 (when it was really busy). I hope to record 20-22 more tomorrow, but that will be challenging if it's even busier. If I can, I will. If not, I have a dealer near me, so as soon as they have them, I'll do a test ride and video of it.

I have an x cape 650 for over a year now. Ride it, not as much as I want to, but it's the best looking bike I ever own. It's just a little heavy and not so exciting, so I tend to grab one of my lighter bikes. When driving the weight is no issue, had to bolster the seat because it was too low. But you get a lot of compliments with the Moto Moroni, it seems everyone likes it. Looking at the new models...they're all looking great. Love the Milano and the Corsaro too. Design wise, they nailed it.

Thanks for that, and great to hear it's going well. I know what you mean about the weight, but for the price, design, looks etc. I think it's a brilliant bike and it has been great to see the new models.

I did the Ron Haslam Race School at Donnington on a CBR600. I felt like an elephant on a scooter. At the end, I bought the DVD with the photos... in 3 of them I have my eyes shut 🤣

Def like Motomorini. Almost got the xcape but saved £££ on the Himalayan, thinking as a new rider dropping the xcape...parts...

I think both are great bikes. You'd be hard pressed to go wrong with either, but yes, the himmy is probably cheaper to fix.

do you know if the 1200 engine is based on the old CorsaCorta Bialbero engine they used to build or if its brand new? i know they had difficulty getting the old engine through Euro 4 so im guessing a new engine, old one was 72 degree too, so does sound new, but be good to know. Actually seems like the Chinese really are listening, a lot more interesting bikes this year it seems

My guess is brand new for the Euro5 compliance, unless they've just redone the map and somehow got the emissions down. Perhaps some of the tooling or components were reused, or they just like a 72deg?

the original was a stunning engine, designed by Franco Lambertini who did a lot for the old SWM off road bikes, they were 72 degree, if anything id say these look closer to the 90 degree mark but hard to tell, ill do some comparisons when i can, but the block looks bigger i think too, bulkier, the the CorsaCorta was a special engine, i talk about it a bit here when show is over lol kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5fVpqGMi7-Wfqs @@PeakMotorcycles
