its okay if you don't know, not everyone does. Eid is a islamic celebration, there are 2 types of Eid. Eid-ul-fitr which is the eid we'll be celebrating tomorrow and that is to celebrate the end of Ramdan, the month of fasting. There's also Eid-Ul-Adha and thats the eid to sacrifice an animal and give it to others and the poor so they have something to eat, in remembrance of one of the previous prophets. During eid families basically come together, celebrate, eat, give gifts and have fun!! Aha, this felt like writing a religious studies essay😂, hpe my explanation helped you have a better understanding of eid 💗

Mubarak means blessed. And yes, Shakira's surname is Mebarak, the same word. And to help you, its pronounced (mu-baa-ruk). :) Edit: So her family isn't Muslim, my mistake. But her surname is in Arabic, which means blessed. Basically, Mubarak is an Arabic word that can be used in many contexts.
