After having played this table, I'm even more impressed by this game you had. I can't keep the ball on the table at all! Every shot is flipper to drop targets to slings to out-lane 😢

Honestly man, there was some serious luck involved. You can see, at the 5:20 on, I had like four straight lucky bounces/rolls on that right outlane area where it instead rolled down the inlane or bounced away. (Shrug) But I'll take it! It makes up for all those bad luck drops (including the first ball of my game!). 😁

I can’t even nail it down what it is about this table. It doesn’t have chained tasks, no quests, no hurry-ups, nothing. Yet it’s my all-time feel-good table. It just feels so good to play it. Ambiance and all.

Yes! That's a great way to put it! I agree. I really like that each of the four main elements (left ramp, left inside lane, right inside lane, and drop targets) all are very valuable to hit and are quite rewarding.

Hit F1 during play, then make sure the box SOUND is clicked. That COULD fix it. If you're not a member of "World of Virtual Pinball" which is a group on Facebook, I recommend joining. There are a lot of very smart folks there that are very helpful.

@@digitalvictory8266 thanks for the help. I checked and its clicked. The issue is I have sounds but no sound for thr flipper or plunger. Will check out WoVP

issue is i have no flipper or plunger sounds. i have music n computer voice sounds. seems something is missing. I tried 1.1 and Bogus mod tables and those work. its only this 2.0 table with no flipper sound

OK - I have an idea. First of all, make sure you're using the latest versions of VPX and VPINMame. Then, try resetting your ROM. Load vpinmame setup (setup64.exe) go into Test and find "gnr_300" ROM. Click the reset button to reset the ROM. I have a feeling this will work.

You have your PC for the cab outside the cab? Nice solution!

I do! That's the Legends Pinball, it's a commercial product that already comes with several tables (nothing great, some old Gottlieb's etc). But the real power of it is that you can hook up the PC to it via OTG connection and play any other virtual pinball system THROUGH it. I play Pinball FX and VPX through it.

I've been playing the Bigus 2.0 mod for a while, and that was quite fun. But this version sure is prettier. It plays a lot differently though... harder.

Isn't Pinball weird like that? I think this version is just a bit easier. So much depends on just how the bounces go. As you saw in this playthrough, I lost my first ball immediately and was still able to make a decent game of it. BUT - if you watch, there were a few moments where the ball could have just as easily rolled down the outlane, but I got lucky and it went inside instead. (shrug) That's pinball!
