Books help us to understand ourselves, our lives and the world around us. Many who watch my Vlogs had asked me to recommend books; as part of first ever such discussion I have short listed 8 books. Six of these are 20th century masterpieces! from both fiction and non-fiction! Looking forward to your feedback on this effort! Will do more such narrations if many found this helpful! December 19 im turning 27...i was 18 years old when i left my studies i was in college 2nd year due to family financial problems i left Pakistan to seek better financial opportunities came to S.Korea started working as a labor before discovering your channel i was living like an ordinary person who don't have any ambition or goals but after seeing you I've so much inspired i started learning English watching historical documentaries and this year my goal is before turning 28 years i will read atleast 10 books.Thank you so Dr mooed for bringing this amazing change in my life i know you won't even see that comment but i just want to express myself thank you again..

Animal Farm by George Orwell is another excellent read. Short and very relevant, anyone, anywhere can easily relate to it. Revolution is prone to betrayal. Although the main theme is communism around WW2, it's frightening to see how people in our part of the world find themselves in a similar situation.
