Story is growing so fast. She such an intelligent young girl. By the way, you can plant the cutting of the bottom 3 inches of the spring onions in grand mama's garden and they will give you an endless supply of spring onions. A good homeschool lesson for Story.

I plant spring onion from cuttings using the end part with the roots. I put it in water then later on plant it in soil.

It would be nice if you could plant your own spring onions, tomatoes.garlic and bulb onions 🧅 too since these vegetables thrive well. You have a fertile soil in your backyard with good sun exposure. Why not plant these basic vegetable ingredients instead😉
