Story is growing up so beautiful girl and so lovely. Enjoy cooking Story and learning life skills. When I was in Primary I had Home Economic lessons in the Philippine and I think it is very important. Taught us in sewing and cooking.

I do enjoy the home ed stuff. It brings back happy memories for me as I home educated for 9 years and look back on it fondly. It was so diverse and stimulating and the best education I ever had, even though that happened as a bi-product.

Having been born in another country and raised in the US by my foreign born parents who have chosen which things to keep and which to get rid of the culture,I have to say I am way more American than I am Latin American. I learned Spanish and speak it fluently. When I visit I feel right at home but when I go back to the States I'm at home too. I think Story will have a very similar experience (if she also learns to speak tagalong too) especially if you decide to stay in the Phillipines until she grows up. It's nice having 2 homes and knowing more than 1 language
