Maaan thinking back to my first Figuarts imagine this being my first when I was 15. I love Battle of Gods and SSJG. I woulda been head over hills for this one. I kinda hope we get newer Goku and Vegeta figures based in Resurrection F. Those outfits are highly underrated.

For another budget release I'm thinking SSJ 2 Goku but with a matte hair or a base gogeta without the blue hair or that Unreleased Cell Saga Base Vegeta. I think I like the new one the most since it's in between the old and event exclusive not too bright and not too dark plus the updated the faces are a plus just don't like the side looking faces overall I think this is the best budget release Goku not counting any exclusives like SSJ 2 or Ui.

Definitely grabbing this. I had a few figuarts from back in the day like scouter Vegeta and nappa, captain ginyu, Saiyan raised in earth goku. However, in the last year and a half I have bought any releases I can get my hands on. So releases like these are music to my ears

So, this was originally a Premium Bandai release, but the rule with PB releases is that Tamashii cant reissue it. The only way to get around that rule, is to change it ever so slightly, either giving it new accessory or removing an accessory from the original release and calling it something else. Not sure who made the rule but marketing and distribution are trying to get around it by doing these 'budget releases'

I like this version because it's anime accurate, especially the white color of the bottom of the boots. on my OG version I repaint the bottom of the boots to someone copy what's on the anime. But I don't know if I like the 2 faceplates that looks sideward.

I still haven’t gotten a god form shf Goku and it’s one of my forms so I have to pick this up. The articulation looks super good for a 2.0 so I hope I can get it soon!! And about the budget release, I would really like to see a beast gohan. If they just remove a lot of the accessories he came with and just replace it with standard 2.0 accessories I think it would be a good alternative for people who couldnt get the premium release!! Great review too!!

The 2.0 goku body is so good as long as there are no QC issues. Sure the articulation is a bit simplified and lacking compared to newer figures, but theres just smth about it making it so easy to pick up and play around with. Could you please do a headswap using the pearlescent event exclusive hair on this general release figure AND the hair from this general release on the event exclusive body, side by side. I feel like both would look pretty nice and match well with the other's colors. Maybe on an instagram post or youtube short?

Colors on this Goku are gorgeous. Honestly considering buying a 2nd if I ever see him in person. Would love to try to remove the Kanji, swap the boots, and maybe replace the arms,neck, and head with FPSS or the DF SS2 for a og SDCC-esque Goku As for budget release, I'd love to see a Great Saiyaman retool. Give him a new SS2 head on the old body and we'd be golden.
