Just received mine and man is he awesome! The hip joints were a little loose but I popped them off and it seems that the factory used a little too much oil on the ball joints. I cleaned them off and everything is tighter. My favourite Goku figure yet!!

Very nice and detailed review about this releash! Another great attention to details is where Goku's tail comes out. Bandai made the sculpt look like the tail bursted out of his pants rather than just put the tail into it.

With this release it’s a no brainer that S4 Vegeta is right around the corner. I think because they’re pumping out a good amount of figures they’re forgoing the shading to give us more characters not to mention increasing they’re profit margin lol. Only gripe with this guy is the no shading on the fur, think he wouldve been amazing with some darker colours on it. Overall love the figure though and am overjoyed I got him for under retail 😁

It truly is an amazing figure, the sculpt has that roger rabbit effect as if he is the character brought into our world, mine suffers qc with a loose ankle joint, but that aside it has nailed the ssj4 look perfectly in any pose, also he seems a bit heavier than other goku figuarts

I am VERY lucky in that my SS4 Goku has ZERO QC issues. He’s absolutely perfect. I didn’t think I was going to love this figure as much as I do. It’s become my absolute favorite Goku I’ve got. I will say, I noticed that my figures that on the box say “made in China” have more shading while the “made in Vietnam (which SS4 Goku seems to be exclusively made) lack a lot of shading and lack matte finishes present on the “skin” of figures that are from China. One quick way that I can immediately tell a “China” figure is looking at the ears. The Chinese ones have shading inside the ears that get the lines to show up. So far, Vietnam figures don’t have shading at all in the ears. My first figure I noticed that came from Vietnam instead of China was my Full Power SS Goku. No idea if Tamashi has completely shifted all production or if it’s just been split. I’d be curious to find out if anyone has a OFFICIAL LINK ss4 Goku that originates from China..

Mine didn't have a loose leg, but the ball peg in his neck is super loose to the point that his head flops around unless the two back hair pieces are pressed down into his back, holding the head in place. Any tips on tightening it? I've heard that nail polish can damage the plastic. I was thinking of using floor polish instead?

I have the same issue with mine but yeah Pledge floor care is the best thing to use to tighten it up. There’s a specific one though, you have to get the one that has blue boots on the front cover and the Pledge liquid must be clear if you search it here on KZbin you’ll see what I’m talking about and each person who used it said it was the best one. I believe it should be at Walmart but in case it’s not there it’s best to buy it online. That will solve our issue.
