The current generation of players are just not good enough except Kudus and Partey who play in competitive teams in Europe. The rest play in low level teams. The coaching too can be improved to maximize what this average team can achieve. No tactics/strategy, players show no urgency. Midfield is normally is Ghana’s strongest position over the years (Essien, Muntari, K. Asamoah, Stephen Appiah, etc.) is now very bad.

The blame cuts across. From coaching to scouting and the players themselves. Blaming Chris alone isn’t that fair because he’s not in charge or everything. We can’t even mention our fitness coach, attacking coach, technical coach. The only coach we know is the goalkeeping coach that’s Olele. Most foundations do the players as well is bad as well. Most players aren’t intelligent in terms of football IQ. How many are able t explain their roles in a tactic?? Or even explain the tactic? Some players are trying to change the dynamic and that’s great. Part of the reason why Ghanaian only thrive a lot as DMs cos that’s what we can do best after being told to press or given simple instructions. The scouting also bad and influenced. The problem is just too huge.
