Amazing performance, and more amazing back story of how Greg Lake got up to speed on Asia's numbers in just a couple of weeks to meet the tour's schedule. How he could stand playing that amputee looking stumpy bass is still beyond me. But he did have to stand up holding it, night after night. He's one of my real rock and roll heroes.

I heard Greg Lake sing during the Works tour in Detroit in 1977 and his voice was incredible. I heard Wetton in Detroit in '82 on the first tour and his voice wasn't great and he could NOT hit all the notes on some of the songs from the album they had just recorded. I've heard him sing live on other videos and Wetton's voice was much better. In any case, two great and similar baritones.

This is Greg Lake the legend guys and gals....not just some guy.....This band plays way better without Wetton, much more freely and with lots of bravado...they seem stilted with Wetton...Now I love Wetton's voice in King Crimson and UK..Danger Money album...He is genius on the bass as well...His voice is more powerful than Lake, but Lake is more variable and he adds his own signature to this....To purists..this may be bunk....but I love that prog rock so much, I like this musical virtuoso....
