I enjoyed watching all 3 tours and will leave the third one to the younger, stronger, more agile hikers. I've never had a need to prove gravity. Keep up the great videos and thank you.

Shalom David! You are truly an adventurer! Shiri is a very patient woman. Does she ever say to you” David, where are you taking me?” Thanks again for guiding and protecting our group during our pilgrimage to the HolyLand in early February with Fr. Dave. Sababa

I worked a bit north of there at Wadi Ovda, in 1980-1982, at what later became the commercial tourist airport for Eilat. Wonderful memories - two of the best years of my life! (Wish I was "your age"! ) Thank you both!

Thank you, this was very interesting. I hiked the Red Canyon not long ago, which was breathtaking beautiful! Do these areas see much rainfall? It looks like these canyons were formed by huge amounts of water
@IsraelwithDavidHyman2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sol, thanks for watching. The are receives very little rainfall, but your observation is correct, in the past the area received much more rain , and these formations where indeed formed by ancient rivers.

Very beautiful area. In Old Testament times wasn't that area in Edom? 😢
@IsraelwithDavidHyman4 ай бұрын
Edom is on the eastern side of the rift valley, but the edomites people expanded to many parts of the Negev.

What is that desert plant that Bedouins put in their tea?
@IsraelwithDavidHyman2 жыл бұрын
I think you are referring to Maramiya = sage.
@EsaLena1 Жыл бұрын
@@IsraelwithDavidHyman I don't know; I seem to recall it growing wild in the Negev and the leaves were smaller than sage and circular.

David, I just discovered your wonderful youtube channel - the absolute best I have discovered on Israel's sites. Since you asked for suggestions, of what to tour next, can you please do a tour of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Compound in Jerusalem. Shalom.

Hi, thanks for watching and for your kind words. Russian compound is an excellent idea. I will add to my list.
