Me too! Isn't funny how this song was about ragnar's death, yet I feel as if this song played a much more powerful symbolism to Bjorn's death. The only thing keeping me from breaking down is knowing the real Bjorn Ironside died of natural causes as an old man after becoming King. He had a successful life.

The fact how Vikings were fearless of death. For they would meet their family and friends in the glorious halls of Valhalla. I only hope to be as fearless as them and pass that fearless motive in my family. For no one should fear an honorable death. It is only forsaking to die in shame.

When that drum beats down and the voices join as one you almost instantly become part of there era in whatever your mind is brought to A great mountain as the voices of his death chant or a anglo Saxon seeing 100s and more ships washing to shore knowing of who the mighty ships bring on this day This song I feel holds the spirits of all the worriors of him and his sons by its side. So basically, this song was about King Ragnar Lothbrok, as the boar who suffered, while the pigs, who will squeal if they knew the boar's state (Ragnar's state), were Bjorn, Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd, and Ivar, who got revenge on King Aelle and King Ecbert for executing their father, while the snakes around Ragnar was closing in on him and then biting him in all parts of his body. This song was emotional to me; its like as if Ragnar was the one who sang this because the song describes perfectly what happened to Ragnar and what his sons will do once they hear of his death

From once little piggies a farmer no a hunter I kill for my people my love my family. To the sea a hunger for the ground is barren her birth she does not deliver. As my sword nor my shield will starve me. As boar storm in as lightning we strike. As we see food a deer I must eat or be eaten as the lion not to back down from anything in front of the king of the jungle. From the sea as we land on land our shield becomes a wall that is not of bricks or mortar. As life is much more of a fight worth for. And fear is not an option As Christ is the lion is my faith and Christ is whom I will die for. For we are all but just men who wat afar and burning our ships the dragon of the sea our ships. Series doesnt show 100%true history. For example-bjorn att paris like a dead man in real life And ragnar him self is not well known. There are poems about hims and they found a lot stuff about him but he is kinda mistery..
