I'm from Brazil and dont understand a single word this fantastic singer says. What I know is that he does what a real artist is suposed to do: enchant you, take you to another world. He owns a primitive, emotional, manly, epic, sad, powerful, awesome voice. He has a gift, for sure. About the "viking discussion" below? Peace, guys. Let's listen to Mr. Einar Sevik.

Before you do you should cover yourself with a good insect repellent and make sure you are not in bear or wolf country because getting in touch with Nature is one thing but getting eaten by something is quite another! And if you really want to get naked go have a sauna and then jump into a lake like the real Northern Europeans do and then follow it by drinking half a bottle of vodka or brannevin...skoal!

Finns are even more attractive and their voices are just as good...they have a long tradition of fine male singers. The actors who play Halfdan and Harald on Vikings are both Finnish and you hear them sing in the introduction of one of the episodes from season 5. It is on KZbin titled "Singing Across the Battlefield."

it norrønt. Old Norse or current Icelandic. remember that Iceland was colonized by Norwegians, but in Norway the language changed due to several things such as the plague, and being under the control of the Danes for a long time. SO where in Norway the language changed, in Iceland it stayed "pure". hope this is helpful to ya

Quoting his exact words for History Channel, 'A viking isn't something you are, it was something you did'. ;) O brave 21st century!
@LasagnaQueen6 жыл бұрын
Especially since these new pagans are kind of cucks toward other religions and too much peace and harmony oriented which doesn't work with Vikings
@LasagnaQueen6 жыл бұрын
I mostly referred "cucks" as people who bow to religions that take away their ways of life. Just like what is happening in the occident at the moment. Surely Vikings were open minded, but until the abrahamic toxicity of Christianity came upon them; they were living true to their culture, but that religion ate them away just as our culture is currently dying or just as my own culture was drained away by colonisators.
@sarahgray4306 жыл бұрын
I agree with the original message...Einar has denied any affiliation with neopaganism and criticized the way in which some of these groups use Norse "paganism" to diguise their Fascist political agendas as spirituality. I admire him for doing so.
