Einbau von rechten SenCom Kabelsatz für BMW E91 39er.

I'm doing this repair at the moment, one part which your video skips is how to repack the wires into the tailgate once you have cut the original wires, joined and heatshrunk with the new loom. The space inside the tailgate frame is limited and if you push the new wires in there is a risk of damaging the new wire joins. I'm going to attempt disassembling the tailgate itself to get access to the wiring loom from inside the tailgate so I can pull instead of push the wires through. For anyone doing this in the future, when cutting the wires leaving the tailgate around the rear inner lights, remove the rubber plug and pull the existing cable as far through as possible before making the cut of the loom as short as is possible to make the new join. Some other notes: If you do not have a sunroof, you may need to remove more grab handles and screen lugs to take more of the headlining down. If your glass tailgate is stuck, there is a release switch hidden in the tailgate, you can access it by removing the insulation inwards of the manual boot release ring, finding the lock mechanism, placing the short end of a hex key in the small circular hole next to one of the retaining bolts and pushing towards the rear of the tailgate, you should hear a pop and the glass tailgate will release. The wiring loom has different gauges of wire, make sure to use the thicker wires for connecting the thicker browns. Depending on the number of options your car has been fitted with, there may be a number of wires left over. Consider removing the whole headlining and extending some of them towards the front of the car so you could retrofit a reversing camera or similar in the future without redoing the wiring.

@@sebes2278 Being thorough, the job took about 12 hours of work to do everything. I found that you can pull the wiring loom through the tailgate after removing a small plastic retaining clip hidden behind the main tailgate trim.

Hat super geklappt. Alles so wie es sein muss. Mit der Kabelnummerierung finde ich gut. Wäre überflüssig extra die original Kabelfarbe zu produzieren.

Muss bei einem Kabelbruch zwingend der gesamte Kabelbaum getauscht werden oder reicht es nicht aus, die defekte Stelle zu reparieren? Bei meinem E91 wird eine defekte NebelSL gemeldet, Birne ist aber ok.

man kann die Kabel auch bis in den Innenraum zurück ziehen erspart Arbeit. und alle Adern am besten nummerieren dann dann kan man fast die nummern im rep Kabelbaum 1zu1 übernehmen

Woher weiß ich welches Kabel ich verbinden muss ? Die markierten Striche Schneid ich doch heraus und füge das neue Kabel dazwischen . ?

Hat alles super geklappt leider läuft jetzt Wasser den kabelbaum entlang und tropft innen denke es liegt am oberen kabelstrang der zur diversity geht da dort keinerlei Abdichtung besteht

Moment: Bevor alles zusammengebaut wird soll alles geprüft werden, spätestens da wäre der Fehler über Wassereinbruch aufgefallen..

@@sencomyoutubecannel8955 wurde ja im Video auch nicht gemacht 🙂! Ich werde mich am Wochenende nochmal dran setzten und die Fehlerquelle suchen aber ein schrumpfschlauch würde meiner Meinung nach auch keinen Unterschied machen, da zwischen Wischwasserschlauch und den Kabeln ein minimaler Spalt besteht. Außerdem wollte ich nochmal darauf hinweisen, dass die Verbinder, die mitgeliefert worden sind auch nicht auf den originalen kabelbaum gepasst haben zumindest nicht alle. Es gab beim originalen 4 dickere und mehrere mittlere und noch etwas dünnere. Die dicken und die dünnen haben perfekt gepasst aber für die mittleren musste ich mir innen so wie aussen neue verbinder zulegen war echt ärgerlich.

Mal eine Frage: mit welchem Reparatursatz haben Sie den die Wischwasserleitung repariert? Ich habe jetzt nun mal die Unterlagen geprüft und der Artikel 2016091N und die 2016091R werden ohne Wischwasserleitung geliefert.
