Iceland had a good few underrated entries over the years most recently 2016 & 2017 when they didnt qualify to the final plus 1997 Paul Oskar finishing very low with one of the best songs that year. Definitely one of the most underrated countries in Eurovision IMO

Eirikur was an experienced performer who already participated in ESC twice before with ICY of Iceland 1986 and Just 4 Fun of Norway 1991 so he was bound to deliver great vocals on his first solo entry, this is a very good deep song but performance wise I found it cliched and quite absurd, especially with 4 guitarists on stage and with playback what's the point? can see why they closely missed out making the final and weird how Finland, Sweden & Norway gave it 12 points but the Nordics love their Rock and Metal music so no surprise.

Astgh Melkonian 2007 was one of stronger years. 2000s are dark years of Eurovision. 2007 and 2009 are lovely. The only good years at Eurovision in 2000s
