I never saw the comments... this discussion is so crazy. Verrückt can be any word that describes an mental illnes. Like a rock/metal-music-version of the joker. Verrückt stands here for "geisteskrank" which would be: mentally ill, insane, mad, brainsick. But if you enter "verrückt" in a translator it shows you "crazy" which also is a synonym for mad. And mad is one for brainsick.

Verrückt is contextual. You need to have an appropriate understanding of the lyrics to grasp the context in which verrückt is being used. You could say: “I broke up with her, and she was mad” or, “I yelled at her and she went crazy”. Verrückt fits perfectly into both scenarios but it’s the context of the preceding words that define its definition within the sentence.

But it is implied, if one calls you "Sick" and you were talking about mental insanity, then one would assume they meant crazy or insane.

Henrique Benassi We can sing about fucked up shit in English. Here’s a lyric from Avenged Sevenfold’s song a Little Piece of Heaven,”Must’ve stabbed her fifty fucking times! I can’t believe it! Ripped her heart out right before her eyes! Eyes over easy! EAT IT. EAT IT. EAT IT.” The song is about necrophilia.

I am learning German, uhm in the phrase "Zum Glueck bin ich verrueckt", the verb has to ALWAYS be the second word in a sentence. When you put a subject or a phrase like "zum Glueck" as the beginning, you still have to have the verb as the second, then you put the subject. Otherwise the subject is first, verb second then everything else. (Time is also always the third after the verb, then any place or preposition.)
