Diamondback remains one of my all time favorite bonsai and a real icon of American bonsai design. I really hope we'll get to see it in its new home! It looks like there's many upcoming projects as well, though, and I'm excited to see them on the turntable after their naps :)

Someone gave me a small Gardenia Bonsai, and after some research, I was under the impression they were a tropical species, but I have lost them before after bringing them inside for winter. You are keeping yours in a cold frame? I live a few hundred miles from you in VA, and have a coldframe outside as well for my Tridents and Maples and such. Would the Gardenia do better in the cold frame? Anyone? ( The enclosure gets to around the 30's at night...)
