Hi Yolz, absolutely loving this series… learning so much from it. I was in Victoria Falls last week and we explored on of the townships as well and realized that it’s not roses and flowers out there. The locals hardly benefit from the travel and tourism in that country. Most instagram and YT channels don’t show that side as well. Glad you are exploring everything and sharing. ❤

Zimbabwe townships are better because we have no slums and shacks like Soweto, Khayelitsha, Gugulethu. People live in proper brick houses, not tin shacks

Argh this made me miss Zanzibar. Went to Nungwi a few months ago and it was the same, villas within a village 😂 it's such a mind fvck, because the beaches are so incredibly beautiful. I couldn't believe that we share the same ocean (Indian Ocean) But man oh man, had the best time ever and felt so SAFE! The people there are just so incredible and a true hustlers.

Honestly this is not the much talked about Zanzibar I expected. Old run down dirty buildings and signs of disorder /poverty everywhere. It's like building a mansion in the slums. Even Mombasa in Kenya is in the same brackets.
