Gotta remember this was his second ever fight at HW, has has not fought in a year and Chisora is no mug. Chisora is top 20 in the world and would give AJ a difficult night on his day. Can’t underestimate this man. He is pure class. He is no smaller than Ruiz, Parker, Povetkin, Ortiz etc. In fact he’s bigger than half of those. He has ok power but fights like a boxer not a slugger. Trying for the knockout will leave him open too much and he is aware of that. I don’t think he makes undisputed champ but I think he will at some point be a HW world champ.

AJ's reach (208 cm) against Usyk's 198 cm will be a big factor when the two finally meet. AJ can also move and box unlike Chisora. He is also a knockout specialist with 91%, so anything can happen if he lands. Usyk is an excellent boxer too, can't wait to see him fight AJ soon.

Chisora landed a few big rights and usyk barely blinked, So Aj might not be able to hurt him either

At the end of the day, this is called Prize Fighting! Usyk is in a VERY good position to get the "prize" fight by being smart. His management team needs to interject themselves into the AJ-Tyson deal, and make him the mandatory next fight after the first clash between those two. He gets a robust step-aside amount and get a solid fight in the meantime against another credible heavyweight to keep sharp. That way, you get the first shot at undisputed and also get a nice chunk of change to boot.

The best case is if Joshua vacates WBO, and goes on to win against Fury, so Usyk fights Joshua for undisputed. I believe he is better suited to fight Joshua than Fury. The worst case is if Joshua vacates and Usyk loses the title fight. Then he walks out with almost no money.

When did Joshua last knock somebody out again? Like a proper knockout not an early ref stoppage? I think he's had 1 in the past 3 years against a 40 year old Povetkin. Klitschko was a ref stoppage, Takam was a bad ref stoppage. Whyte in 2015 was probably AJ's best actual knockout, and Usyk doesn't fight anything like Dillian Whyte.

@antiminer2422
@antiminer2422 3 жыл бұрын

AJ showed against Ruiz in the 1st fight he struggles against someone who is crafty and can move well. Uysk has those skills and then some; he is another level up from Ruiz. He gives AJ all sorts of problems. I'm not confident AJ wins that fight at all. It's way more competitive than some people think.
