I grew up with my mom playing Leonard Cohen all the time. When I was a kid, I didn't understand what he was saying (I'm Norwegian) and I didn't like him. When I started understanding English, I realized he was amazing, and started listening to him more and more. Every song of his is a poem, yes often dark and kinda depressing, but also filled with wisdom. And, he certainly did have a sense of humor too. I don't think you'll ever regret diving into his collection of songs.

Great reaction, loved your take on a lyrical classic covered by one of the planet’s great voices. The Leonard Cohen rabbit hole defines “deep” - The Chelsea Hotel (his affair with Janis Joplin) Bird On A Wire (oft covered) and Goodbye Maryanne (he and she were a classic star crossed couple) are just a few famous ones. Or, you know, more Eivor 👍🏻🤟🏻😃
