Adequate storage is the curse of the car collector. The autotechnica covers are fine as long as you regularly air them out and place something on the roof to encourage airflow.

I'm sure sooner or later you will find the time to make the EJ what it can be. Really brings back memories of the EH wagon I had in the late 70s, best car I ever had.

Just wanted to make a comment on the jeep motor. Its only low power. I didn’t see clear enough but oxy welding cast iron is not that difficult. It might get hot thou. Something for a cold winter night big fire in a half 44 drum. Cover with fire blankets etc. whole motor in the fire. If at night you want it all glowing. Fire bricks too only have spot to be welded exposed. Special cast rods. Sleeves ok just have the block checked for cracks before and after. Otherwise if just water jacket a machinist could fit /bolt a plate over the hole. Heater pipe outlet maybe?

Going over work previously done is a pain, but you can only do what you can do! Tarping it up is not really an option either, traps moisture and causes more problems! Good luck mate, lets hope you can get back to it soon! 😅

Why would you put enamel over decent primer?
@xacoupeguy7 ай бұрын
The rear quarters only had etch primer the bootlid had epoxy primer and because I knew I'd have to bare metal it all again, and I needed to give it some protection because any paint is better than none
