Had an EJ special back in the day that was a two tone pink & white roof the colour was clled "Hayman Coral" I think, Keep up the good work great to see the EJ again. Cheers 👍

I well remember our Scout Master and my uncle had EJs. I can vividly remember Skip flooring the auto EJ and we were all amazed at an automatic changing gearbox. Those were the days. The EJ put our family Morris Minor to shame with its 803cc engine. Well done on your restoration. Sorry you have lurgi. Mike in Oz

I straighten my fc bumper bar using a lead hammer n wood dollies as per my half bro's dad's instructions. Came up great!

Looking better each time Graham. My last EJ got burnt when my house burned down. It had the recliner front bench which made a nice bed. A friend of mine owned a pink one about 45 years ago. Question: What mix do you use on the citric acid? I'm experimenting with rusty stuff at home and I'm not sure of the mix.

Still a lot of work to go. Perhaps do the resto in a couple of stages. First , get the (primed only) body together and make it a driver. Leave all the fiddly bits like chrome/paint/interior/trim for a latter date. I've driven around in a "guide coated" car before. looks like a work in progress which seems to work.

I can just tell from the video that this EJ is going to look sharp Graham. Good clean panels are an excellent start. Hey, by the way, how long can you let it sit in epotech for ?? Does it go bad if you leave it for a few years ?
