6 years late but song was composed for the winner of the 2nd edition of Singapore Idol in 2006. Both finalists had to sing it then the winner will get to record it as his first single. So technically original singer is Hady himself. :)

Mark my words... Mike Mohede will be Asian Idol. Not because Hady isn't good, or Mike is phenomenal, but because the competition is being held on Mike's ground.
