When you lay down body side panels you should lay them on the other side (the side of the panel that is on the inside) so they don't get scratched.

Highway defiantly took a hit but i ride 90% off road. I can get a full day of riding with a tank of gas so it still does the job. I do have a rotopax i bring on rides but have yet to ever use it. Overall the bike is more responsive and peppy with the fuel controller.

I also like your mods of keeping the stock exhaust intact. Yes the full FMF will help unlock the ponies, but I don't want the noise, or the bother of repacking my muffler all the time. I would do about what you have if I go the CRF route..It;s looking like I may just do that. They seem to be a decent 50/50 DS bike, not just a plated dirt bike which I don't want.

I would install this if I bought a aftermarket exhaust system as well. I don't see the point if I didn't. But if you dig it dude...then enjoy. :)

+Stephen Arseneau They exhaust may come down the road.. It does make the bike more responsive and takes out some of the lauls throughout the gears

Kinda new here riding without pedals and all, but i have this bike also, bought it new and have installed a Big Gun exhaust on mine and i love it. My question is why do, or do i need a fuel injection controller? Will not having one mess up my bike? Thanks for any info. Todd

+Todd Winner Now that your bike is breathing a little better with the exhaust, you need more fuel to be injected in. Without it will be running a little leaner which= running hotter.

i dont think the airbox mods do anything, since after the filter the diameter gets much smaller anyway

Its hard to say if there is any real performance game from the larger snorkel.. but either way it sounds 100% better! :)

it does sound nice, but only when revs are going up.. unless you have new exhaust then you cant even hear the intake x)

oh and btw, you use stock exhaust and the fuel controller, can you feel any real power increase with it?

Adasiek9595 It has bester pickup, feels more responsive and overall more preppy. The fuel controller along with the 13/42 gears make the bike a pretty mean little machine.

thats good to hear. Im on 13/40 + powercore 4 at the moment but im going for ejk and 42t soon. After that ill buy the powerbomb header i hope it will give it more power, because as for now the bike is underpowered for its weight

Thanks for the upgrade vids on your Honda. I've been against the wall between this and the KLX250s for awhile. The plus to the Honda is the FI, the plus to the KLX is the better fully adjustable suspension. I'm no stranger to carb tuning, but on the KLX i would just scrap the stock CV carb for a pumper, and they are expensive compared to your controller. Suspension however is very expensive also, how is the stock damping on the Honda? Hopefully I could get away with spring rate swaps, and preload adjustments..There is always Racetech! lol. My DR has it all, pumper carb, aftermarket full suspension, exhaust and the list goes on. I want a smaller DS for commuting and trail riding. I'm trading the DR for a V strom 650 so I can have two bikes in the future. The WR250r would fit me best, but for the extra 2k, and if I can upgrade the CRF and still be ahead and make it better I would be happy. I am almost 50yrs. old so I don't need to be doing double jumps anymore,,lol. Have fun with your Honda!

Which one weighs more? Cuz my 250L is somewaht heavy I believe (I like trail riding) ;;I wouldnt care about the weight for street

iv got full mods done, and get 100 mpg at 45 mph and about 75 / 85/ at 55/60 mph, thats europien gallion..

Ive watched two videos and still dont understand where the grey connector goes that is supplied with the ejk.....and Ive watched your video six times.....all u say is one goes to stock and the other to stock connector...but u dont show what or where you are plugging it in......u have only two plugs to demonstrate where they go and you dont demonstrate plugging in either one...if you are gonna make an instructional video, you have to show what you are doing and the order that you do it in. or its worthless....

+Eric Dealano There's a wire connected to the injector. You disconnect the two, and they both plug into the EJK. Hope this helps!

Yes, the stock tuning on the 250l is running pretty lean.

i thought these ejk things you change the jetting and then take it off. i didnt know you leave it on. is it possible to take it off after jetting or will it change the jetting back to normal if you remove it?
