Is that yellow plug the clutch interlock same as the clutch safety switch?

Yes it is the same, if you see a “natural” colored plug it would be the cruise control switch.

I take it this also resolves the key removal issue as well?

Yes, it does resolve that issue. I like to remove the pin from the key cylinder as well though.

@@c2specmotoring Awesome! I messaged you on IG about buying one, I'm really glad I found this product of yours. Much more satis'factory' than cutting and splicing and all that. Would you happen to know, if I'm getting a 5-speed engine harness, seeing that the original reverse switch plug/wires will be unused; can I depin them from the plug at the ECU and remove the original from the harness entirely? Or do they need to remain plugged in to the ECU? I'm going to be removing the original tape and rewrapping the harness while I do my conversion so I'll have an opportunity to do so.
