EK9 Headlight Restoration and Refresh

Took the front bumper off to clean under everything while removing the headlights to change all the bulbs and resurface the dull lenses.
Replaced the city lights, turn signal and headlight bulbs.

I have restored many headlights with different methods in the past 14 years. The absolute best and permanent way is sandig it horizontally with 600 grit then vertically with 800 grit after. Then literally without polishing/buffing, straight up spray any 2K clear coat. It MUST be 2K (Yes, the expensive can, not the cheap ones you find at local stores that say 2X). I repeat, 2K! One of the most famous brands of 2K clear coat is by USC called USC Spray Max Clear Glamour 2K clear coat.

Yeah once I start refinishing the whole front end I’ll make sure to clear coat the headlights as well. I just wanted to clean up what I have for the time being.
