I wanted to learn the spring for like 15 years, and after several failed attempts I just ditched the idea. Somehow this time it seems to be working! I really start being able to manage the cards! Thank you so much for this tutorial!

I’ve always struggled with a spring. I can do a big dribble if that counts 😂 but there are things I’ve learned that I haven’t been able to do when I was younger. I struggled with many one hand cuts and now it feels effortless. My only problem with my spring is catching it and it’s not a consistent flow but practice practice practice

Here because Andrei's channel, found him because the money talk, new to cardistry. Trying the Spring using the way you talk about, but had no luck. Following your method worked for me, a tiny spring but a spring.

Glad that I'm not the only one who spring with my palm. Also, you can hold the top card after the spring which could be applied on some magic tricks.

This kills my thumb, finger & wrist but it is definitly worth it. Got use to it in 3 days but working on bigger springs.

I think even Shin Lim does this grip that you are doing with the spring because it is the most effective.

It's good to see U in a video again. U did a very good job breaking down Ur spring flourish. U've brought up a good point for all sleight of hand magicians, almost every trick needs to be modified to one's own limitation. Ie: hand size, strengths, & experience. Thx for the video Kat.....wayne

You're spring is soo pretty and smooth . You mentioned not much finger strength, so did you avoid doing card manipulation and go with cardistry?

i can keep it going but i hold back. i can catch them, but the spring isn't big and they look messy and scattered on my hand. i've only been practicing for 2 days anyway. it's kinda annoying to practice when my thumb muscle is sore. it doesn't feel that bad anymore unlike yesterday but it still hurts a little ;--;

I was really struggling to learn it, because of applying pressure as everyone does, it was hard. Thank you this video helped me a lot 🙌. Also thank you for letting me know a good cardistry magician so that I could subsribed to him also.

Thanks for the tutorial on the spring. I know how to do it already but it's interesting to see how others spring the cards. I can't spring it like you from that finger grip position. Mine is held with thumb on left bottom corner. Middle finger is on the upper right corner with the pointing and ring finger on the immediate side for support. But the reason why I like this video the most is the instruction on how to make your spring bigger. I didn't know how to do it. This video helped. I didn't know the large spring was so simple. Well....not really 😭 Lots of cards on the ground. But I will get there.

I have such a difficult time with doing the thumb motion while continuing the pressure on the top. I always loosen up too much to successfully perform the move in one way or another.

I always did my springs with my thumb on the side edge. I should probably start doing it with my thumb on the corner.

I don't have poker size playing cards so springing cards with two opposite corners is doable but doesn't looks nice....so I have to spring the cards from the middle of the deck..... Any tips ?

Unfortunately you'll have to buy some poker size cards, it just makes it so much easier

@@randomacc1029384756 I am surprised! Thanks for the tip but I am a student + I live in a country where only plastic cards are available. So I will have to buy it online ..And you know some typical things like my family don't support me doing magic and don't have the money to buy it online..😧😧

@@md.taskin1738 I like doing the spring with plastic playing cards. It comes off my fingers nicely and consistent. I also love doing the under pressure fan with it because it doesn't ruin or bend the cards. However, not all plastic are the same. Some are just too stiff. I have several different brand of plastic cards. The one I like the most is the Bicycle Prestige plastic cards.

you are right brother but it doesn't looks as cool as poker size normal playing cards.... Actually it is about the size of playing cards not the thing which it is made of....

Why are you even here if you have to ask this question? No one interested in cardistry would ever ask what the point of any flourish is....
