19:36 sir i have a doubt, sir why did u gave supply to rectifier then inverter and then to induction motor, why didn't u gave supply directly to the induction motor?

Supplying mains power will lead to a fixed frequency (50/60 Hz) being supplied to the IM. You need a variable frequency to control the motor's speed. So, converting the AC to DC and then reconverting the DC to the desired frequency must be done. One can even go for PLL techniques or cyclo-converters, though, cyclo-converters might introduce sub-harmonics.

Sir, DTC is a advanced scalar control or vector control. Because in Bimal K. Bose it is mentioned as a advanced scalar method.
