Why there are 2 values of shear force but only one for bending moment?

Yes the shear force could have been found from one side only, i.e. either from left or from right but I have doubt as to why sir took both from left as well as right side ☹️☹️

How BM units are in KN-m? Since the loads are given in N/m the SI unit should be in N-m.

Sir please solve a question. A simply supported beam which length is 8M and last end side 5M length is UDL 10N/M.20N load from 2M distance to starting point. Find shear force and bending moment diagram?

BM at B for the UDL you didn't multiply it with the distance to get the force acting downward. And it was clockwise to B you used minus. How pls? Thanks

why 180 being multiplied by .5? shouldnt it be Mb=(-200 x 1) - (180 x 1) ?

180 is distributed load acting along the beam , he changed the distributed load into concentrated load( which means 180x1=180 ) then he multiplied by half which’s the distance from the load to the point he’s taking the moment

D shear force is -17.29 and B.M at D & C are zero as they are freely handing beam

You calculate it in the same manner as done for B and C , you'll get the answer as zero.

But in question are you saying simply supportted beam but when you are solving bending moment than you are saying given beam is over hanging beam

THe UDL force is 180/m and the distance is 2m so total force equals 360 and for calculation of moment , half of the distance is taken, so -360x2x1/2 = 360x-1 !

While taking moment at right of support C, the uniform force 180 should have been multiplied with half the distance
