Hey Chilli, I've been getting back Ekko recently (I'd say that Arcane definetely helped with that, lol) and I am super glad i found your content, as it really helps to wrap my head around Ekko again. Back in the days (2 years ago or so) I was used to build Protobelt -> Lich -> Deathcap and Zhonyas (if needed). When I take a look at your gameplay or the ones from others, I don't really see Protobelt anymore: It is always Lich -> Nashors etc. Why is that? Isn't the reset of the auto attack timer for faster passive so valuable? Does the other combination just straight up deal more damage? Looking forward to your next stream on twitch!

Protobelt got nerfed at the start of the year and turned into a cheap item with ok stats. Lich Bane/Nash is a good combo because it synergies well with Ekko’s kit. The high elo Ekko OTP’s still build protobelt and I do too. Because his turned from a one shot assassin to like a AP bruiser with how the meta is currently.

When do you determine the difference between using HoB or Electricute - equally same question for sorcery vs resolve 2ndary runes

HOB & sorc into range/mage Elec & resolve into melee

Ekko is one of the most champions i feel confident when playing, i wonder that how he against with the others, is he always weaker ? Thanks

His a pretty balanced champ that has strength and weaknesses but overall really fun to play

I’ve been wanting to learn how to play properly for a while. How do you know when to push wave or freeze it at tower ? Great gameplay btw

Thanks! It’s really all matchup dependent. In general the early levels are the best to freeze if you’re able to deny farm. Pushing your lane is good when your jungler wants to do an objective. After level 7-9 when you one shot the backline minions with Q, getting prio/pushing is the best and look to roam/follow ur junglers plays.

Is blitz really good? First time I see a content creator/streamer use it, or any other program tbh. I'm kinda lost between prof, UG, and Blitz. Which one is most accurate and reliable in terms of ALL features, including item build suggestions as well for beginners?

Blitz is pretty good for beginners and probably one of the best LOL assistant apps. I only use it for jungle camp timings I keep forgetting to disable the other overlays

Yeah very viable, I do take Dark Harvest but there are a few Ekko OTP that take HOB in high elo.
