What I LOVE about Earl is his speed on the table! - "veni, vidi, vici" - {"I came, I saw, I conquered"} referring to the speed with which something is done. Earl sees his shot, aims and fires. Its beautifully done!

Efren reyes has a similar style. They take a quick look at the table and usually shoot the first shot their mind visualizes. Both instinctive.

Earl has a point, you can't be a GREAT player when you're that young. You're a great player after you win many big tourneys over decades and see if you can maintain that high level. Kaci is an amazing player non the less. I also don't blame Earl for always mentioning his age cause THAT is great to play that level at his age.
@samerbleik54754 жыл бұрын
True
@captmcneil4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it would be wrong to call someone that age great until he/she has earned his or her wins. But in retrospect it will still have been great. So there's no way to know and he's got no point - Earl's attitude is horrible. Why does he even point out shit like that? Remarks like "great shot" after his opponent missed and got lucky is just bad sports. When you're this good you gotta be good enough to be able to afford being humble and respectful in defeat. And it seems like Earl thinks he can't (or just won't). Instead he chooses to be a bully.
@roberttruesdell61513 жыл бұрын
I agree but to come about it the way he does makes him an arrogant ass. Could have simply said he’s a very good player only time will tell if he can keep it up. Especially when you lose. And lose badly. Makes you look even more like a sore loser. Which we all know he is. Excuses for the people sharking him is the biggest copout. When your a professional and an experienced professional at that you need to be able to deal with defeat better and give credit where credit is due. The guy played great and he didn’t. It happens. Congratulate the guy and suck it up.

Earl will be a baby until his last day. He misses, it’s someone else’s fault. His opponent makes a good shot…they’re lucky. Earl gets lucky and it’s “skill”. He’s so annoying to watch. And to listen to. For the commentators: His ego will never need bandaging. It’s his self esteem that does.
