love your Hopkins style. I have more or less the same Ranger model bought in1969 but way too heavy both for my fingers and shoulders now

There's Better, for your opinion, at the same price range?
@Bluesman764 жыл бұрын
I think you can find one with better quality woods but dressed down, it all depends in what you're searching for . In a price 235-260 € you can find a lot of instrument's, Ranger got a secret : its top (soundboard) is free from contact with the neck that gives an extra add in sound characteristics that can be found in more expensive guitars .Thanks for watching!! on a scale of 1-10, what will you give this guitar?
@Bluesman764 жыл бұрын
for me 7 as for the sound the looks and the money i spent im very satisfied. I put bone (pins and sandle ) and the sound now is more deep.

nick tsanatelis is this guitar worth it as a replacement for my yamaha f310? i owned that guitar for 5 years now and i think its time for me to buy a new one.. i trally love the looks on this tho.

@@ayeitsjay4283 i got this for thumbpicking and heavy strumming all the way, its my main guitar from 2018 , the top of the guitar its free (its a bolt on neck) so it can vibrate and has characteristis of more expensive guitars , it plays like butter with warm bass response ( mahogany back ), the only thing you ve got to keep in mind is the neck : it has a vintage feel its fat, for me its ok but youve got to keep that in mind . for me best choise for the money ive ever had .

How good of an acoustic guitar is this?
@Bluesman765 жыл бұрын
it has nice tone with sweet deep bass, it responses well almost in any playing, good for strumming and thumbpicking, but its not as loud as a j200 , good for the money though . thanks for waching

Ah thank you mate!

to be honest now it became my main guitar almost a year after... for every thing i play, i put bone in the bridge and bone pins and the tone became even better

That’s nice mate! I’ve been trying to make up my mind between a Recording King Classic Series 000 Torrefied and this Eko Ranger IV For 2 days now and they’re almost similar in price only that I’m in love with both of them, can this guitar handle fingerpicking well? And thank you for responding so quick! It means a lot!

it's all laminate, no solid wood. i emailed EKO to confirm, that's why it's so cheap

i changed the description above, andrew garvin thanks !

Don't be silly now it's not laminated on the inside where the sound resonates round the mahogany and spruce before jumping outa that big hole it's a brilliant guitar and if set up correctly will definitely compete against a Gibson hummingbird this is not a toy or a beginner guitar this is a mature master of sustainable tones that perfectly enrich absolutely every style of music, this guy has got himself a very nice guitar not a fender, not a Gibson but an EKO and he knows it feels as good as it sounds
