Many of these words and phrases are not helpful. Something more aligned with everyday conversation makes more sense to me.

This video will be better if the intermitten sound is improved. The sound in many sentences is cutting out (I heard pausing between Italian voice and English translation) Some words in voice were missing.

Yes , venire e tornare are similar but venire is like the english verb “to come”, and tornare il like “ come back, “. In the video the the voice say: “stai tornando a casa?” And it’s ok , but if you ask: “ stai venendo a casa?” You can say this only if you are yet in the same home too.

Tornare means "to return" and venire means "to come" Although, we can use both but here, its mentioned about coming home(which means returning to the place where you belong)
