It just blows my mind to think that you have so few views. Every American should be literally made to watch this\ History of WW2. I take to task younger people who cannot even tell who the Axis Powers and the Allies were or name Roosevelt or Churchill and even what they did, My whole family, inluding my Aunt, fought in that war and then I did my bit in Vietnam. The thing is the yanks were never involved in the battles at El Alamain or starlingrad. The bulk of Nazi forces had been destroyed by the British long before the Americans arrived in north Africa

Stalin and his Soviets were responsible for 80% of the Axis Power's casualties. The Soviets lost 26M people during that war. The USA lost only 0.4M people during that same war. We've lost more due to the Sackler Family.

Negative. Japanese casualties were far greater due to American, British, Australian, and Chinese forces. Additionally, the Brits and Americans accounted for far more Italian casualties than the Russians.

Anybody who understands history knows that the Russian defence of their homeland was the decisive factor in the war. We all know that no country suffered more than Russia. Perhaps the suffering in China was just as bad, but none suffered more. My Anglo Saxon forefathers certainly played an important role in defeating the Germans, but the Russians decided it.
