Recently saw El DeBarge, featuring Chico DeBarge, live in concert. They were absolutely flawless. They put on a great show. I feel blessed to have been a part of that audience that night to see what God can do when we fall. He picked them up and didn't take away their God-given talent. That El is something else! I live their whole family and pray that God keeps his hand on each of them to stay away from drugs and toxic people that are no good for them.

I'm just seeing this in 2023... WOW!! Seeing #ElDebarge and #Chico together, singing ad-lib, demonstrating the love they have for each other and the people in audience hungering for more. Then El, with his sense of humor, singing that he... "TAKE COOCHIE DOWN TO THE SOCKS... BECAUSE HE NO LONGER SMOKE ROCKS"...then Chico told him to say, after that, to say... I am, however, particularly worried about El and Randy who seem unable to gain even a measure of control over their drug addiction. Lara O'neal El did have a relapse in 2011 and did a stint in rehab. He had to cancel his tour with Kem at the time but he's been clean ever since. It's just that sometimes people continue to want to judge him for his past. When he's tired, they think he's using. When something appears off, they think he's using. Right now, El is trying to do El and give the people good music.
